How would you display earrings at a craft fair?
My family is going to have a booth at a craft fair this weekend and my sister and I have made earrings but we don't know of a good way to display them so that they are shown off and people can see them. Have any ideas?

- I would keep them under a glass or plexiglass cover on a dark fabric. You have to be very alert to theft..
- A black velvety fabric looks really good.
- If you don't want to go out and buy a earring stand (which is standard), you can make your own version. You can take a mesh (like cheescloth or lace, etc) and stretch over a picture frame. You can then hang your earrings inside.
- luv ur name btw. lol. but uh put them in a glass case, with a cover, and put black felt under it. thts pretty much it. not much u need. hope i helped [; and hope u sell alot!! [;
- My daughter and I did something like this a few years ago. You can get regular poster board and cut it into squares/rectangles that are 3-4 inches wide and at least an inch longer than the earrings. Use a 1/8" hole punch (or an awl) to punch two holes to affix the earrings (I'm assuming they are pierced). This works for studs as well as ear wires. To do the actual display without spending too much money (and eating into your profits) you can cover the table with any dark fabric, arrange the earrings on the fabric, make 4 spacers out of same size spray caps, pieces of 2x4, almost anything, then place a piece of clear acrylic over the spacers. If security is not a big issue then forget about the spacers and acrylic.
- If you have time you can order a earring display stand online at orientaltrading.com, or Hobby Lobby probably has some if you don't have time to wait for them to be delivered.
