Why is my computer screen stuck in x-ray mode?

Our apple mac desktop computer display is in the x ray mode. It looks like the x-ray mode from photo booth and the 'normal' photo is now x-ray and the x-ray is now 'normal'. They switched and we need to figure out how to get the display back to normal. This web page is currently black purple and orange and I know thats not normal. Please hepp!
