HELP! How to take successful photograph in black room 1200sq ft with 2 hours. (set up and shot time)?
I have been asked to photograph a trade show booth about 1200 sq ft. The walls and floors are black and the ceilings are 9 1/2 feet high. I have 2 hours to set up and take the photos. Any suggestions? I have 4 excellent pro photo lamps. PLEASE HELP! They are pictures of the interior or a room for a home show. * of a room They also got very stupid (people at the homeshow) and instead of having 50w bulbs they replaced them with 15. :S

- take photos of what? basic camera skills... use a gray card for the lights is the 1st step is it portraits? products? need more info
- You should be ok if you have a DSLR and a tripod. Meter off a grey card or use an ambient light meter placed at important areas and manually set your camera to those settings. If shutter speeds get very long, try raising the ISO to 400 and / or adding some light with your lamp(s). I would try to use the ambient lighting as much as possible though as I doubt your lights will give the same look and mood that the natural light has. Unless the booth is EXTREMELY dark I think you should be able to get some decent photos using the ambient light. Definitely shoot in RAW to give you as much post processing ability as possible. Good luck. steve
