How do I get involved with setup trade show exhibits as a trade or career?

1. Any trade shows I have been to through work, whether Chicago or San Fran, were "Union guys" helping setup and move pallets of product and booths in and out. It must be a Union thing, so call a local union.
2. Contact your local convention centers and find out who they contract with for the services. Most convention centers have a specific list of preferred vendors that will come in and do those services and companies who will be using the site can not use outside people.
3. Your best bet is to look for for handyman position at major hotels and convention centers local to you.
