bare in mind i dont live in the US so buying parts is very expensive same goes for the complete system.ok i have a clone system every time i start up this system it says please wait and the entire screen is blue.i reloaded it with windows XP but it dident change it i delayed the start up display but it still comes on.this blue screen comes on and then i wait like a minute before the normal booth process begins.another problem i have is that from time to time the system does not recognize its hard drive and there is a booth failure when that happens i normally take out the hard drive for a week or two and then put it back in before it starts up normally.there is no problem with the monitor because i changed it a few times just to be sure .what is causing this problem any logical advice accepted

hi...sounds like a bios problem (if you input devices...please get a mouse usb/din, note its active state or malfunction --->bios problem) slow startup and inability to load OS can be attributed to a bad bios, not cycling properly-->flash it! not remove cmos clock battery, flash the bios for proper accessing by the chipset! Desktops are much easier to reflash than a laptop! be thankful!
