Mobile wood display shelves? My husband and I own a Mask Business. We sell at Renaissance faires. We are building a new booth this year at another faire. We are looking into putting together mobile shelves. Something we can either put in a tent or set up in our buildings. Something with a lip on it, so people dont drop our masks all over the floor. How can I display only selected material on projector? Hello I will be managing the audio/visual booth at my school from next year onwards. There are 2 projectors in the hall that display the same image, as does the computer monitor in the audio/visual booth (at the back of the hall on the balcony). I don't know how it is all hooked up as I have not yet had a look. I need to be able to display only selected material on the projectors, so when i 'alt-tab' between different slideshows, videos etc. I want that to be visible ONLY on the computer monitor in the booth - not on the projectors as well. How do I go about this? eg. I display a slideshow on the projectors for all to see, and then switch to my video application to play the video after the slideshow. When I do this - i do not want the part where i switch between the slideshow and video application to be visible on the projectors. Switching off both projectors in between is not possible because of delays, and they are out of the remote's reach (from the booth)

Who else thinks that ESPN has ruined Monday Night Football? It's preseason for everyone & every part of preseason football is going to be sloppy, but what ESPN has done to MNF is a disgrace. I kept telling myself that this was the first game for these 3 announcers together & it would take some time for them to gel and become a good crew, but it's obvious that 2 of those jokers absolutely do not belong in the booth. Jaws is great for pre/postgame analysis & Kornhole works well with Wilbon in the format they have on their show (2 annoying fools arguing with each other is somewhat amusing at times), but neither should be in the MNF booth. ESPN has turned MNF into 3 hours of scripted, annoying, boring noise with football on the screen. But hell, you can't see much football with all the graphics flashing on the screen & that stupid score/time display right in the center/bottom of the screen blocking the view of the WR/CB matchup. You suck Kornhole, stick with pregame Jaws, & go to hell ESPN, you have ruined MNF! /rant over: your thoughts?

If a person is a commission only salesperson, when should they receive some form of pay for noncommission work As a salesperson on a commission only pay, does my company have the right to require I work without pay or compensation doing things between sales calls? I have been asked to stand at a booth in a local mall a couple of hours a day during the week & answer questions, hand out brochures or even just check out display and write a summary on the condition of it, all on my own time. They also require I watch while a product I sold is being installed by scheduling it into my regular working day. These are just a few of the things recently required by a new company mgr. in which I am not being paid for and take hours of my own time. I have even had my work day extended by several hours after I have completed all my sales calls by such things being added to my day. Is this legal to require someone to work without pay since we have no written company policy/job descriptions requiring these things. I need help finding a specific artist that uses nature in his work.? I can't recall the guy's name. He uses sticks, rocks, ice, etc. to make beautiful displays and then shoots photos of them. What is it? A silver part with purple screws...? Okay when I bought my first car I found a weird something in it and I put it on my key chain because it looked really cool, but I lost my keys and I would ask everybody if they knew what it was or what it could be and nobody knew and now its gone and I really want to know what it was. The person that owned my car before me was a business and they said that they used the car to set up like business displays...like a convention booth I think. Thats what I got out of it. But it could also be a peice of equiptment to a car I dont know. It was about three to four inches and silver. It had about five to six holes in it and little purple hollow screws screwed in the holes. Not all the hole had screws but I dont know if that mattered. It also had like a serial number on the side. Today's Story Whistling Pete The American flag, fireworks, friends, picnics, chicken, hot dogs, baked beans, parades, bands and celebrations are all part of the Fourth of July. That early summer holiday, we pause to honor a time in our history with cheers, bangs, pops and whistles. This day was given to us by the blood and foresight of generations past, and it is full of promises that we must keep for the future. A happy day, at least for most of us. "Hi," was my greeting to one of our midafternoon customers at the fireworks booth. "Are you looking for any particular display of fireworks"? "Yes," came the reply of the fortyish-year-old man who stood on the other side of the wooden booth. "I need a firecracker." This was my third year selling fireworks for the Chaparral High School Band Booster Club, and I took pride in my knowledge of these "treats" for the eyes and ears. Thanks to my son, I know what every one of these does or at least what it was designed to do. "Would you like to see one of our packaged displays; or the ones here on the counter that can be bought separately"? "Just one," returned the gentleman as he avoided eye contact. "Well, let me see. We have some small fountains and some large ones. Perhaps you'd like a smoke ball or a whistler." "Just one firecracker," persisted the man. "I want it to pop is all." "How old is the child"? I responded as if he'd told me it was for a child, but I didn't know that. Not for sure. "It doesn't matter," returned a voice that now became more determined with a man's resolve to find just the right firecracker. It was clear to me that this child was special. That the Fourth of July was special. But I found it hard to believe that just one firecracker could remedy whatever it was that came between this father and child. I smiled. "Well, here's just the thing," I said as I held up a party popper. "This makes one pop and sprinkles a little confetti." "That won't do. It can't make a mess." "Is this for the evening? Maybe a little fountain that sprinkles would be the best choice." "No. Just a pop or a whistle." The man allowed his voice to shake for the first time as he brushed the back of his hand up the side of his whiskered face and across his left eye. "I . . . I want this for my son's grave and I don't want it to make a mess in the mausoleum." If one heart could touch another, this gentle, sad man had truly touched mine. He was right, the age didn't matter; neither did all the parades, fireworks, hot dogs or celebrations. All of the Fourths of July that had ever been or ever would be didn't matter to him or to his son. All that mattered was this man's need to give someone he'd loved and lost a shared moment of declaration. '"This is what you want." I gulped as I held up a Whistling Pete. "It whistles quite loudly, but it's what I'd get." "Thanks," said the unnamed man as he edged a smile at me through watery eyes. "I'll take it." Should Glasgow`s Transport Museum not concentrate on Glasgow`s Transport heritage? I am sure most of you saw yesterday that Glasgow`s Transport Museum wish to have part of the Pan Am 747 that blew up over Lockerbie on dispaly. Whilst I can understand the reasons for relatives wanting a display I feel this would be better served by being in Lockerbie itself. Anyway not to difress from my point too much. In recent years the Transport Museum has added Graeme Obrees bike( Ayrshire), an Erskine Bridge Toll Booth( Renfreshire) the Ballamory Bus whilst totally ignoring the fine Bus and Train Heritage that has evolved in Glasgow over the last 50 years. There are two buses and a trolleybus in the museum and the youngest bus is from 1958. Dual external displays on my laptop I have an Inspiron 1525 and i am trying to run two external displays with the laptop shut. I have a VGA and HDMI connection on my laptop can i hook one display to the VGA and the other to the HDMI. If so how do you do it i can only figure out to hook to one of them if they are booth hooked up at the same time. Which games would you recomend for the Nintendo Wii (read futher)? For an upcoming buisness convention I was asked to come up with an activity that represents new technology which would bring people to the company's booth and then the company's representatives could better make new buisness contacts. I was given a budget of around $300, and ordered to find out something cheap that would also be effective before the end of January. I discovered that the Nintendo Wii was set to release on 11/20/06 (today) and is supposed to be a breakthrough in technology in the way it is operated and should draw a curious crowd no matter where it is displayed. Plus the cost is relatively cheap and fits the budget ($250 for a basic setup which includes one 4in1 game, one controller, & the system and cables itself) With the rest of the money I figured I would devote it to a more targeted game and another controller. (I can go over the budget slightly) My question is, which of the games that have been released would you recomend for adults and buisness men/women? Ok, my mistake on the specific details. In any case, this is meant to gather a crowd. I'm not sure on the specifics, but I'd asume if they were at the convention they would already be into buisness, and from there I would like to single out anyone who might not be a potential customer or consumer of what the company I'm working for is advertising (the company is a chemical distributer) Also, if you have any videos I could pitch to my superiors to win them over a little better on this and my reasoning, that may help a ton.

HELP!!!Can anyone help me with My Auction Booth/Pagebuilder? I'm trying to set up my Auction Booth. I can load & launch Pagebuilder, but when it opens and I try to load the thumnails it says can't preview or can't display.I've been going rounds with Yahoo for over a week. No matter how I word a question, I get prescripted answers which don't apply to my question. Do I have to go to Geocities and make a page, then load that somehow to pagebuilder? How? How do I set up an art show or craft fair booth on a tight budget? I'm a junior in high school and would like to try selling my photography at local art shows, craft fairs, and festivals. I've found some websites that talk about how to set up a booth, but they all reccomend getting a canopy ($700+), wall panels ($400) and display racks, none of which I can afford. I've been to some shows, and a lot of the photographers use plastic storage boxes for the smaller, matted pics you'd flip through, and they just put em on a table. I can probly find enough of those around the house to use, and would probly be able to talk my pastor into letting me borrow a table from church, but I also need to be able to hang the framed pictures. I can't really afford much, I'd like to make a profit, or at least come out even. What do I do?

My reasons are to combine financial resources - in the areas advertising, booth space at craft shows or 'malls'., and overall physical labor. Two heads are better than one. My background is that I am an expert candlemaker, seamstress, painter and display artist. I'm new to the area, and I know it could take me longer to do this whole project on my own. What is it? A silver part with purple screws...? Okay when I bought my first car I found a weird something in it and I put it on my key chain because it looked really cool, but I lost my keys and I would ask everybody if they knew what it was or what it could be and nobody knew and now its gone and I really want to know what it was. The person that owned my car before me was a business and they said that they used the car to set up like business displays...like a convention booth I think. Thats what I got out of it. But it could also be a peice of equiptment to a car I dont know. It was about three to four inches and silver. It had about five to six holes in it and little purple hollow screws screwed in the holes. Not all the hole had screws but I dont know if that mattered. It also had like a serial number on the side. please wait? bare in mind i dont live in the US so buying parts is very expensive same goes for the complete system.ok i have a clone system every time i start up this system it says please wait and the entire screen is blue.i reloaded it with windows XP but it dident change it i delayed the start up display but it still comes on.this blue screen comes on and then i wait like a minute before the normal booth process begins.another problem i have is that from time to time the system does not recognize its hard drive and there is a booth failure when that happens i normally take out the hard drive for a week or two and then put it back in before it starts up normally.there is no problem with the monitor because i changed it a few times just to be sure .what is causing this problem any logical advice accepted

PCI Video card as well as built-in VGA? I'm in a situation where I NEED two monitors to display the same thing simultaniously in 2 different locations ( one at the "recording desk" and the other in a sound proof booth.) I've tried a Video Splitter Cable but the definition is... poor to say the least.
